This is a very scenic spot in the heart of Bosnia. The river Vrbas makes a horseshoe bend and it is very easy to photograph from the roadside.

As you are looking north, the sun hits the spot most of the day. Early mornings can offer better sky and cloud colours.

Travel Information

This is on the main road from Banja Luka to Mostar. It is easy to pull off the road and park in a lay-by.

Wow, that's a nice river bend. Instantly reminded me of the one in Montenegro. Wish I knew about this place when I was in Mostar a few years ago. Great photo dear Adelheid!
