That was quite a challenge, Georgi, with pleasing results. What settings did you use to capture them so well?

Hi Edward, I had to make one shot for the foreground and the forest. Then I had to wait to get darker to capture the fireflies. I used a 85mm 1.8 Nikon lens focused at infinity to get the bokeh effect.

Foreground is the native ISO 64. The fireflies are photographed at f 1.8 / ISO 1250 / 18 sec
