Bulgaria Plovdiv Roman Amphitheater
An active ancient Roman amphitheater which is still in active use; it is found in the center of a large city in southern Bulgaria. It holds a commanding view of the city in front; a magnificent view.
Photography Tips
I would arrive early before the crowds; it is popular. It could make a great sunrise/sunset shot at the right time of year. Use either a wide-angle lens or shot several together for a panorama as the viewpoint is from the very top of the seats.
Travel Information
Travel by road to the bottom of the hill and walk to the top following signs. There is a gate, where you pay, to enter into the stadium though you can shoot through the fence if you choose.
