Bulgaria Rila Lakes Mountain Hut, Bulgaria

Situated on the hikes around the 7 Rila Lakes, there are several view points on and off trail which offer great views in the direction of the Rila Lakes Hut and the far behind valley. In good weather conditions, the Vitosha Mountains can be seen.

When having a cloud inversion, go for a time lapse video / shooting mode. You will have a moving sea of clouds.
Furthermore, there are several foreground options with lush green bushes and flowers. It depends if you wanna have a clean photo or something more framed.

Due to the good infrastructure of a cable car, connecting the by car accessible bottom of the mountain rage with the Rila Lakes Chalet, the lakes are fairly easy reachable. The cable car takes around 35 minutes to get you up. The hike from the hut covers around 150m in height until you get to the old mountain hut at the first lake. From there, just follow the path up the mountain to the right and leave the beaten track for some nice photo opportunities on the hut.
