Canada Icefield Parkway Valley

Beautiful view into a valley over Icefield Parkway in Canada, which is connecting Banff National Park and Jasper National Park. A trip along this street is worth it not only for this view but for many other great places along the road.

This spot is really nice for long exposures during blue hour with the car trails on the street pointing towards the end of the valley. If you are at this place during the day you still might want to wait for a car to have another element in your photo. If there are too many cars you should try to take multiple photos with a tripod and overlay them in Photoshop to remove every car you don't want to include in your photo. This technique removes the need to reconstruct the street beyond the unwanted cars with the stamp tool since you can simply use these pixels from the other photos.

There is a small parking lot available right beside the street.
