Canada Chutes de Plaisance
This recreational tourist site offers a historical building recalling the past glory of the first industrial village in the area (North Nation Mills), now disappeared, a walking trail from the top to the bottom of the falls, a lookout, rest areas and picnic tables. The falls has a 63 meter drop.
Photography Tips
Bring a tripod and ND filter. This is a waterfall with a 63 meter drop. It is a 1 KM hike down the hill from the gate to the river. There are at least two good, clear photo locations on the way down. At your first chance, begin walking alongside the fence all the way down the hill. You will find the clearings.
