Canada Ile d'Orleans Observation Tower
Near the northern tip of the island, in the village of St-François, this wooden observation tower provides views over the St Lawrence River, the north coast and the mountains that lay just beyond.
Photography Tips
The top of the tower is not conducive to a tripod, because a story board that is on the panorama river side of the tower obstructs the bottom of the photo. Be prepared for windy conditions.
Travel Information
After crossing the bridge from Quebec City to I'le d'Orleans, turn left on the ring road (Chemin Royal). The tower is about 15-20 miles on your left. There is ample parking. It's about ninety (90) steps to the top.
