Canada Meachen Creek Falls
It takes a bit of effort to get there but the drive on the narrow forest service roads is worth it. The multi-tiered waterfall is stunning.
Photography Tips
An ND filter will be helpful here. There are no guardrails or protective barriers, so be very careful as you set up. A fall here could be catastrophic.
Travel Information
From Kimberly, B.C. Travel south on Hwy. 95A to the St. Mary Lake Road just before Marysville. Turn right on St. Mary Lake Road and drive 32km to St. Mary Creek road and turn left. After you cross a small bridge make a sharp right turn onto Hellroaring Forest Service Road. Drive about 1km and turn right on a single lane logging road to kilometer 8 marker. There’s a wide spot to park on the side of the road. Then walk back about 100 feet to a path on the north side of the road and go up the path to a “T”. It’s an easy 300m stroll to the falls.
