Canada Trans-Canada Highway Memorial

As highway rest stops go, this one is pretty special. Located on Canada’s Trans-Canada Highway near Rogers Pass between Golden, British Columbia and Revelstoke, it’s a great place to stretch your legs and enjoy the view. The drive along the highway is of course, spectacular, so this is yet another excuse to get out of your car (as if you need another excuse) and breathe in the mountain air.

Early afternoon worked well for me.

From Golden, BC., get on the Trans-Canada Highway 1 and drive northwest for 82 km to the memorial. From Revelstoke, drive eastward for 66km. Ample parking available.
