Canada En Route to Lower Bugaboo Falls

We were preparing to hike to Lower Bugaboo Falls when swarming mosquitos changed our minds. While we always carry bug repellent, these pests would require full body armor. On the way to the trailhead, we noticed a couple of still ponds that were perfectly reflecting the surrounding landscape. We decided to abandon our hike and instead make a quick stop at the ponds for a couple of photos.

From Golden, British Columbia, drive south on Highway 95 for 63.0 km to the hamlet of Spillimacheen. Turn right on the Westside Road and drive approximately 250 yards and park. The road is narrow and there’s no designated parking available so depending on how long you intend to stay, you might opt to park on the side of Hwy. 95.
