Canada Pika’s Traverse
Spectacular views of British Columbia’s Whistler/Blackcomb ski areas and surrounding mountains. This is one of the top ski destinations in North America (#1 in my opinion). In the summer, it’s a great place to escape the heat and has many photo opportunities with the mountains and alpine lakes/ponds.
Photography Tips
One of the first lakes you see when you go down towards Pika's traverse is one man-made (or man-reinforced) that is used to store water for the snow cannons. At first sight, it seems impossible to take a decent photo as it is surrounded by wires (some of them electrified!).
When you get closer, you can take photos through the wires - if you're lucky, you get some nice reflections.
