Photography Tips
Bring a long (zoom) lens appropriate for the lighting. They are often there in the evenings of the summer.
Travel Information
Get to Lethbridge, AB.
From Scenic Dr., drop down into the river valley at the Wendy's toward Indian Battle park (east side of river) and continue south to the "boat launch" parking lot. If the river is low, you can cross to the "island", otherwise continue walking south down the trail, keep right at the fork, cross the causeway and back North through the brush to the weir.
Alternatively, park at Indian Battle Park and take the foot bridge West across the river and under Whoop up dr. and walk south, past the little pond, and continue to the weir.
