This is a large park along a very historic river in Winnipeg. There are multiple tree carvings that have been made including Woody the Tree Spirit. There are great hiking trails throughout the park and lots of deer, birds and other nature. Canoeing or Kayaking along the river is another great way to see the park.

Photography Tips

Bring good shoes and follow some of the lesser marked foot trails. Be prepared for wet conditions and muddy trails.
