Canada Bear Lake Trail - British Columbia
Beautiful lake and alpine meadows after a short one hour hike.
Photography Tips
Go in summer. Bring your bear spray as there are bears in the area. Lots of potential compositions if you want to hike to higher peaks.
Travel Information
Use an app like All Trails to find the trail head. You turn off near Fort Steel and drive up Fort Steel Wildhorse Road for about 45 minutes to trail head. Then a one hour hike to the lake following a well marked trail. Ample parking. Will need a 4x4 or vehicle with ample ground clearance to get to lacation. Rather remote, so prepare adequately.
