Canada Lake O´hara Alpine Plateau

Lake O´hara Alpine plateau is a beautiful backcountry mountain side in the Canadian rockies with superb autumn colors and amazing hiking possibilities.

Try to use as many larches (if autumn) as a framing and point of interests into your frame. This will add depths.

In order to get to Lake O'hara, you need to hike for around 11km till the shorelines. The hike is quite boring to be honest since you just walk over a street. If you book very early in advance, you can get a spot at the campsite or even the lodge. However, this needs to happen month in advance. If you have booked a spot, you can take a shuttle up and spare the hike.

From the lakeshores, it's another 3 kilometers up with another incline of some height.

Always carry bear spray with you and get familiarized with bear behavior.
