This area is highly populated with bears. Always carry bear spray and be educated about how to behave when encountering bears.
Parking is for free down at the road. However, you need to buy a Kananaskis conservation pass. If you spent more than a few days in the area, the yearly pass is recommended. You need to register your vehicle with the pass.
If you go for the whole loop, you will cover 10km and around 800m elevation. Some parts are steeper and require some scrambling.
