Niagara Falls, located on the border between Canada and the United States, is one of the most famous natural attractions in the world. It consists of three waterfalls: the **Horseshoe Falls**, the **American Falls**, and the **Bridal Veil Falls**. The falls drop about 167 feet (51 meters) and have a combined flow rate of around 85,000 cubic feet per second, making it the **largest waterfall by volume** in North America. The stunning sight is especially breathtaking at night when illuminated, and it's also known for its powerful mist, which creates rainbows on sunny days. Over 12 million visitors come to see the falls each year, making it one of the most visited natural sites in the world.

Photography Tips

To capture great photos of Niagara Falls, shoot during **golden hour** for soft light, use a **tripod** for long exposure shots, and bring a **wide-angle lens** to capture the full scene. Protect your gear from the mist with **waterproof equipment** and try a **polarizer filter** to reduce glare and enhance colors. Don’t forget to zoom in on details like water crashes or rainbows for variety in your shots.
