Canada Skyline Trail

The Skyline Trail is the only way to get to the top of Skyline. 6.5 km return (short route in and out). Park is open year-round but full visitor services are only available mid-May till mid-October. Take the longer route to get the chance to see moose and other wildlife. During daytime remarkably busy especially during tourist season. Fewer people at the beginning and end of the season, as well as in the morning hours. Sunset is also quite busy at the summer month.

Photography Tips

Use the early morning hours to get a chance to see moose, using the back loop. At the trail end it is usually very windy. Use tele for bold eagles and other birds, but also moose. Use a tripod for panorama photography.
