The seaplanes at Vancouver Harbour are a nice theme for photographers, especially because you can use them as a foreground element for a photo of the skyline. You can even rent the seaplanes to take a flight around the city.

Travel Information

Paid parking is available, it's a very busy area though and getting there by train is definitely the best choice. The nearest stations are Burrard or Waterfront Station.
