Canada Bow Lake, Banff National Park
Bow Lake is a small but beautiful lake surrounded by the high peaks of the Waputik Range of Mountains. Water in the lake is the meltwater from Bow Glacier and is turquoise in colour with a bluish tinge. We walked from the parking lot to the historic Num-Ti-Jah Lodge, a quaint wooden building with a red-pitched roof, to the lakeshore. The water was very calm and serene and reflected the images of the mountain peaks.
Photography Tips
Try and catch it on a calm day to get great reflections. A good wide-angle lens is also recommended based on your type of photography.
