Chile Lago Torres, Torres del Paine
Lago Torres was our highlight and last destination on 5-days hike (W-Trek) in Torres del Paine Nationalpark. On our 5th day, this was a sunrise mission.
Photography Tips
The best time to take a nice picture is definitely sunrise - the sun rises on our back and therefore bathes the Torres in red light. We expected it to be a lot more crowded during sunrise, but there is a lot of space for everyone. We used a 24 mm lens to capture the whole laguna with the Torres in the back.
Travel Information
You can either park at the hotel at the entrance, take a shuttle to Camp Central and hike up at one, or sleep at Camp Chileno to be able to see the Torres for sunrise or put it at the end of your W-Trek as a highlight for the trip like we did.
