Colombia Tayrona, 'La picina'

Tayrona National Park, bordered by the Caribbean Sea in northern Colombia, is a place of magical biodiversity in the Sierra Nevada de Santa Marta.

Most visitors stay in Santa Marta. From there you have to travel by bus or private vehicle to Zaino where the main entrance to the park is located (entrance fee). Then there are well maintained trails that lead to the different points of interest. There is also horse transportation. The most interesting places are located about 2 hours away by foot. There are lodges where you can stay overnight and eat.
