Cuba Farmhouse

a typical house on Cuba. on the landside, the most houses are made from Wood. this - i must say it clearly - is one of the better ones. many houses are broken, have no Colors or simply a broken Roof. Building materials are rare and expensive, so the People have to arrange with that. when you drive on Cuba for yourself - not in one of These "hey, we bring you to our best Hotels in the Island" bustours you will find many of this old, broken living places.

for me it was not easy to Photograph places like These. specially when the People who live there are at home. everyone we see on Cuba was nice to us. but you feel a Little wrong when you come with your expensive camera Equipment to take pictures of their homes.
