Cuba Castillo de la Real Fuerza in Havana, Cuba
The Castillo de la Real Fuerza is a fort in the Old Town of Havana close to the Plaza de Armas. The fort is possibly the oldest stone building in the New World created by European settlers and a UNESCO World Heritage site.
Photography Tips
The fort is open to the public (fee: 3 CUCs in January 2016). Obviously, a wide-angle lens is crucial.
Travel Information
The site lies in the Old Town of Havana and parking is scarce. I walked there from my hotel.
