This image was done in the Gardens of the Castle in Nové Město nad Metují, a beautiful little town in the Czech Republic. Between the castle and the Gardens, there is a unique wooden bridge (beginning 20th century) by Dušan Jurkovič.

Photography Tips

No wide is wide enough. :) There is very little place for the classic shot with the castle in the background so bring a wide lens.

Travel Information

The Garden is only open May to September (9am to 4pm, in summer a bit longer). There is a parking area at the Garden - it has 2 entrances (one from the Castle, one from the parking area).
