Czech Republic Mariina skála (Marienfels) Czech Republic
Mariina skála is a nice viewing point on a rocky hill (height: 428 m) close to Jetřichovice (Dittersbach) in the Bohemian Switzerland.
Photography Tips
It's good to be there a sunrise or sunset. With lenses between ~16 and 200 mm focal length you'll find a lot of compositions. For the photo, I used a 24mm lens. Tripod and GND-filters are a good choice here.
Travel Information
I've marked a free parking area, which is about 900m to the south-west of the spot. From the parking area you have to hike up the hill. It's about 1.0 km / 140m ascent to hike. In October 2018 the wooden hut on top of the rock was closed. To get a good place to take a photo you have to climb on the rocks. Be careful! Especially with strong wind, it might be dangerous! There is not much space left, when the hut is closed.
