Šaunštejn is a nice viewing point on a rocky hill (height: 340 m) close to Vysoká Lípa (Hohenleipa) in the Bohemian Switzerland.

Photography Tips

It's good to be there at sunset. With lenses between ~16 and 200 mm focal length you'll find a lot of compositions. For the photo, I used a 17mm lens. Tripod and GND-filters are a good choice here.

Travel Information

I've marked a parking area, which is about 750 m to the south of the spot. It's free after 6 o'clock pm, as far as I remember.
From the parking area you have to hike up the hill. It's about 1.0 km / 70m ascent to hike.
