Czech Republic Stará Plynárna - Hřensko
The stone building of the Old Gasworks was built in 1905 by German workers in an exceptional place in the village of Hřensko between the rocks and on the water stream. It served as an acetylene gas plant and supplied city gas to twelve nearby residential buildings.
The gasworks building was built in a suitably open location, in a relatively narrow ravine, so that in the event of an explosion the inhabited houses in the village would not be endangered. It served its purpose for approximately twenty years, then fell into disrepair until 2005, when it was very tastefully reconstructed by a private owner.
Shortly after the opening of the gas plant, one of the German workers was poisoned during acetylene production, it was found that safety regulations had been violated, and so that the local superiors would not be prosecuted for it, they called their known doctor, who examined the worker and wrote in the protocol instead of death by poisoning, that death occurred due to the failure of the organism and the overall age of the worker. The worker was buried 200 meters above the gas works, where the cemetery is. Understandably, the worker's soul does not like this, and therefore returns to the gas works every month during the full moon and is haunted :)
