Czech Republic Moravian Karst - Jedovnice
The location in Moravian Karst (see bellow description) between towns Jedovnice and Rudice. Near Brno. The whole area is worth visiting, IMO September/October is the best. It is the time when fogs emerge and trees start to change colors. You can visit many caves in the region and take a boat tour in some. There are also abysses ;)
In this particular spot near Jedovnice you can find nice small rock formations from which you can take a panorama picture of the surrounding woods and in the woods bellow you can walk through the woods which frequently offer nice mist and light under good conditions. A lot of locals offer accomodation here as well!
The are is not so wast so you can travel between locations and find yourself a nice, unexplored spots to photograph!

Photography Tips
The best is probably morning but in this region fogs frequently last the whole day. Or at least some form of low fog in the woods so sunset can be very nice as well. My pictures are taken both with wide lens (16-20mm) as well asi with telephoto (300mm)
Travel Information
You travel from Brno to either Jedovnice or Rudice. This is pretty straighforward and I hope needs no further explanation. Then it is best to park a car need a wind mill in Rudice (marked Parking) and walk few hudred meters down the hill to the spot. There is also a way from Jedovnice village alhtouhg it takes more time (about 2,3km). Take good shoes and be carefull. Stones get very slippery which could be dangerous in the dark.
