Denmark Nyhavn port, Copenhagen

Nyhavn was originally a busy trading port where ships from all over the world docked. There were sailors, prostitutes, taverns, and bars.
Today the beautiful old houses have all been renovated and fine restaurants dominate the old port. People relax by the canal at Nyhavn and enjoy jazz music and great food.

Photography Tips

Come here in the early morning hours to avoid the crowds blocking your view and giving you a hard time getting some good images. I tried to get very close to the water to have a better reflection outcome. It is also worth checking the tide schedule to make sure enough water is in the canal.
