Denmark Skjolnæs Fyr, Aerø
This lighthouse is located at the very northwest end of the small island Aerø which I recommend you visit. Life here is peaceful, the people are super kind, the food is excellent, and there is much to experience. Especially in the summer months, a recommendation. You can visit this lighthouse during the opening hours and climb the tower. They also have a small cafe or play golf on the surrounding golf course.
Photography Tips
I used my drone to frame the lighthouse with the surrounding trees and capture the ocean in the background in the same image. I came here for sunset on a late summer evening to avoid interrupting visitors or golf players with the drone.
Travel Information
You can park your car for free at the marked parking location. The parking lot has a lot of space for many vehicles since a golf course is nearby, which is frequently visited. Driving around Aerø is relatively easy and very relaxing. There is not a lot of traffic, excellent road conditions, and the island itself is pretty tiny, allowing you to travel from one side to the other in around 30 minutes. You can only come here by ferry.
