Denmark Vestre Strandvej, Aerø

The Vestre beach is close to the capital of Aerø and can be reached by bike or on foot from here. It's a great location to watch the sunset on a summer evening and go for a long walk along the shore. You will find many colorful beach houses as well.

I came here on a summer evening for sunset to watch the sun going down behind the horizon featuring the calm ocean of the Baltic Sea. A mid-zoom lens might be nice to get more sun in your image and have the sea in the foreground. I used a low-angle perspective to get a blurry foreground.

You can park along the road on the grass since it seems like this is the most convenient way to park your car here, and people from Aerø are doing it as well. Driving around Aerø is relatively easy and very relaxing. There is not a lot of traffic, excellent road conditions, and the island is pretty tiny, allowing you to travel from one side to the other in around 30 minutes. You can only come here by ferry.
