Denmark Mønsted Kalkgruber
In Mønsted Limestone Caves there are more than 60 kilometres of underground paths. Some are as large as cathedrals and others are so narrow that a grown man
cannot walk through them upright. 2 kilometres of pathway are electrically lit.
From the main path which leads straightinto the limestone mountain you can by means of a side path gain access to a very old cave system. Further down the main path you reach "Nonbos Cave" where people worked in the years around 1840.
From this cave you have access to the deepest paths which lead to two lakes. Over the largest lake a multi-media show takes place every half hour, telling the history of the caves. The pictures and images are dramatically projected on the cave walls and water surface.

Photography Tips
In the cave it is wet. So you need weatherproof things. It is a good idea to have a flash and a tripod.
You can do longtime exposures too. The first photo here is such an exposure. About 30 sec and my camera was dirty from the wet lime.
