Dominica Kalinago Territory, Dominica
A re-enacted Kalinago village (huts, traditional boat, sculptures etc.) can bee seen. The Kalingo are indigenous people of the Lesser Antilles in the Caribbean. I visited the site in 2013 on a rainy day (grey skye). Given the impact of the category 5 hurricane Maria late on Monday September 18, 2017, the village is probably destroyed.
Travel Information
The site lies at the end of a cul-de-sac with ample parking. I was shown around by a local friend.
