Ecuador Río Jondachi
The photo was taken at the Jondachi River. This river originates in the Andes mountain range and then joins the Hollin, Misahuallí, Napo, and finally the great Amazon River. Its waters are crystal clear, and its rapids are challenging, perfect for white-water sports. Every year, the kayaking and rafting event, Jondachi Fest, is held as a reminder of the importance of caring for the rivers of the Amazon.
Photography Tips
To take this type of photos, it is recommended to carry a telephoto lens, use high shutter speeds, and it is also advised to bring waterproof gear for protection.
