Egypt Sahaba Mosque
The Sahaba Mosque is located in the Old Market area of Sharm El Sheikh. It has two enormous minarets standing 76m in height. It's a recent construction, only finished in 2017.
Photography Tips
The size of the building means a fairly wideangle lens required if you are in the immediate vicinity. There are lots of vantage points around where you can shoot it from different angles (see my separate spot photographing it from "Old Egypt"). Although a busy area there is plenty of room in the square to set up a tripod. The building glows amazingly at sunset and is then nicely lit by spotlights after dark.
Travel Information
The Old Market is a popular tourist area in Sharm El Sheikh (although there is nothing very old about it) and it's a short taxi ride from any of the resorts in the Hadaba area at the southern end of Sharm.
