Maadi is one of the most beautiful parts of Cairo. It is a charming neighborhood known for its leafy streets and suburban feel compared to the bustling city center. You will find nice houses and gardens.

Photography Tips

Friday morning is the best time to take photos. Then you have the streets to yourself. Maadi is not like other parts of Cairo; it is easier to take photos here. But you will also find police and military, please do not photograph them. Also, be careful when photographing houses; sometimes, the houses are authorities, and it is not allowed to photograph them.

Travel Information

You can come by car, there are lots of parking lots, or by metro or Uber. You have to walk 15 minutes from the metro station "Sakanat EL Maadi" to this spot.
