St. Catherine's Passage (Estonian: Katariina Käik) is a small and charming street located in the lower old town of Tallinn and connects the streets Vene and Müürivahe.

It is one of the most popular attractions of Tallinn and therefore well-frequented by tourists.

There are mostly old master workshops called guilds where you can buy different handmade goods.
The artists and craftsmen use traditional methods to create their art like glass blowing, weaving and pottery making.
If you want to you can even watch them practice.

St. Catherine's Passage remains a few original fragments of the old St. Catherine's Monastery which has been destroyed during the reformation back in 1524. It is one of the oldest buildings in Tallinn.
The name of the passage explains itself now.
