Estonia Tallinn

Tallinn was an unexpected surprise for me. The remnants of a medieval wall in Old Town and the narrow cobblestone streets filled with shops and cafes were fun to explore. If not for the sometimes heavy rain that day, we would have spent a lot more time there.

While signs like this one aren’t to be expected, they’re certainly appreciated by people who are monolingual like me. If restrooms/toilettes/water closets don’t have pictures of people wearing skirts or pants on the door, I could be in trouble (although these symbols aren’t as reliable as they used to be).
