Uniquely shaped hills surround this small lake and lie above the Atlantic Ocean. It can be found at the end of a minor road leading towards the ocean and close to the capital of the Faroe Islands: Tórshavn.

Photography Tips

After hiking towards the lake, I flew out my drone for a bit to get this aerial view of it and to feature the drop-down to the ocean in the picture. You can only get this perspective from the air since you can't hike further than the cliffs you can see in the picture.

Travel Information

There is no specific parking lot here, but you can find some spots on the side of the road, which others rarely use to park your car without blocking anybody else. You can fly your drone from the parking lot, but it's quite far, and you might have connection issues. I would recommend hiking closer to the cliffs.
