The island of Kunoy is located in the North of the Faroe Islands and is close to the second largest city: Klaskvík. You can access the island or at least the Southern part by boot or car due to a bridge connecting it to the main road.

Photography Tips

I flew my drone straight up in the air to capture this fantastic image of the island of Kunoy. You can get a similar perspective without the drone if you hike the mountain behind you when pointing in the direction I took this photo. It is a steep hike, but also great to get a good view of the surrounding landscape.

Travel Information

I followed the main road in this part of Faroe Island (route 70) out of Klaksvík and parked my car next to the road without blocking any other vehicles.
