Faroe Islands House by the ocean, Faroe Islands
This beautiful cabin can be rented on a rock beside the Atlantic Ocean. It has a few beds, so hosting smaller groups is good. From the kitchen window, you can look right into the ocean.
Photography Tips
Bring a wide-angle lens to capture as much of the scenery as possible since you can not back up too much here, and the cabin is pretty close to you; it might be tricky to have the ocean in the frame as well if you bring a different lens. If you sleep on the island, coming here at a blue hour or for sunrise is best.
Travel Information
You can only enter the island of Kalsoy by ferry. No tunnel or bridge connects this place on Earth to the other islands of the Faroe Islands. Make sure to come here early as it's first come, first serve, and the ferry is relatively small + the locals can always skip the line. Drive to the Mikladalur village and find a parking space in the town. There is also an accessible public restroom. You will find a small car park and a public toilet. The house is just located right by the famous Seal Woman.
