Finland Pyhätunturi, Pyhä-Luosto National Park
Pyhätunturi is the highest "mountain" in the region with 540 meters and differs from the Luosto area, which is about 30 minutes away by car. The tree species are different here and the ski area is larger. More types of skiing are offered here than in Luosto. There are also several hiking trails for snowshoeing in absolute solitude.
Photography Tips
Use your drone at sunset so that you always have a view of it. This is particularly important due to the cold and wind. You should also have a license to fly. Do not fly over the ski slopes. This is forbidden. Check the weather conditions beforehand and whether there is fog. Then the ascent is all the more worthwhile.
Travel Information
There are spacious parking lots right next to the ski slopes that can be used. These are rarely used in the morning and evening, especially at off-peak times. In general, the journey time from Rovaniemi Airport is around 2 hours and 45 minutes.
