France Pont Genois, Corsica
It is a nice and massive old Bridge, one of several Ponts Genoeses as Corse even partially has been ruled by the Republic of Genoa for a long time. The Bridge is crossing a quite wild river. The impressive Corsican mountain Region around and the permanently changing light conditions supply a lot of good motifs.
Photography Tips
Photos can be taken from all sides. The modern Bridge of the N200 is also accessible (1 of the photos is taken from there). The old Bridge can also be crossed but only by feet.
Travel Information
The Bridge is situated where the N200 crosses the river Tavignano Close to the village of Altiani in central corse. There is a free parking directly behind the N200 Bridge. From the parking to the Pont Genois it's about 50 m.
