"Pointe des Poulains" is a windy area in the north of belle-Ile. Rocky cliffs are really beautiful and the lighthouse may add to your pictures.

Photography Tips

Sunrise or sunset are the best times of the day. You will meet only a few people on the cliffs, except maybe in summer when Belle-Ile is crowded.
Be carefull to keep your gear dry and clean during the windy days, as in this area the waves may be very big and spray water and salt above the cliffs.

Travel Information

Travel by car and use the great parking area, then walk 5 minutes to reach the cliff. Explore the cliffs from side to side to find a good vantage point. You can also reach the lighthouse island at low tide.
