France Wild Flowers in Valensole

Valensole is a small town on a hill to the east of Manosque in the south-west of the Alpes-de-Haute-Provence department.

It is a small traditional Provencal town and is known for the amazing lavender fields in bloom during June and July each year.

Photography Tips

A tripod and time needed to capture the beauty of this landscape. Perhaps long lens. Regrettably I didn't have any of these.

Travel Information

No prescribed parking. Parking on the road is possible as the road is not too busy.
