The Gorges du Bachelard leading S from Barcelonnette to the Col de la Cayolle provide amble opportunity for long exposure shots of the river with its rocks.

Photography Tips

Use a tripod and evt. a ND grey filter. Lenses from 24-90mm are ideal in this setting. Exposures around 1 sec still protect the flow (my preference) but longer exposures will turn the water into undefined mist.
Midday in summer will get you some sunlight into the gorge.

Decent Road with opportunity for roadside parking in some areas and easy 2-3 m descent to the river bed.
