Another good spot for taking pics of blossoming lavender is on the road from Valensole to Riez. This spot is particularly nice if you arrive before sunrise.

Photography Tips

Ideally use a triop as the lavender field is very deep here and you might need more that one shot to cover the depth, avoiding very narrow apertures which will introduce artifacts and diffraction blur.

Travel Information

Easy parking on the roadside. You are possibly alone around sunrise, but do not come later as many tourists will walk into the field.
