France Paon Lighthouse, Brehat Island
Brehat Island is a very nice place to rest. The rocks have amazing colors at sunset, especially near the Paon lighthouse in the northern part of the island.
Photography Tips
Bring a tripod as the place can be very windy. Plan to be there at sunrise or sunset, and find your spot in the rocks facing the lighthouse. It is better to be there at high tide to catch the water movement. At low tide, you may find a great field of rocks, as the tide amplitude can be really great there.
Travel Information
You can reach the island from Arcouest point all year long; the crossing is very short (15 minutes). Once on the island, it is easier if you have a bike, even if the island is small. You should rent it near the harbor when you arrive.
