France La Chambotte

It's a place where you get a stunning view over the largest lake of France, "Le lac du Bourget", in Savoie.
It's a very long lake, and this spot is located at the middle of the lake, about 400m above, so you can see both sides and have a great view on the valley.
Sunsets are always outstanding, from the beginning to the end, from the orange colours over the spot to the last minutes of pink mountains tips.
Sometimes some clouds pass in front of you and offer a spectacularly scenery.

You have to take the road up to the "belvedere", then you can park near the restaurant, and the viewpoint is actually the terrasse of the restaurant, which is accessible for everyone.
